He said: "If your child is missing any of his/her favourite food due to financial problems, kindly let us know please. We will deliver or you can come to our home. We will adhere to social distancing."

Prabhu also took to social media to praise a local business owner, Jane and Kenny Gillett who run and own Sweet Celebrations in Banbury, for helping sponsor some of the gift and food packs he has been giving away during the lockdowns of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Prabhu posted the following message of gratitude on Facebook: "The world does need people like Jane Gillett, a beautiful soul with a great heart. Everybody knows that due to lockdown how local business people are suffering. Above all, to bring smiles to the community, Jane first sponsored us #Santa's dress and then now again another #Mr_Incredible costume to bring smiles to kid's faces in our campaign on Monday and a No. 6 balloon for Addhu.

"It is by my personal request, she has agreed to do this post as we feel that people like her should recognised in the community. It was Jane who came forward and supported us."

This is not the first time Prabhu, who works as a carer at a Banbury care home, has given his time and money to the community during the pandemic.

Prabhu received an 'Unsung Hero' award from MP Victoria Prentis last month. The MP said in a letter to Prabhu: “Thanks to your hard work and dedication, you have helped make the lockdown periods a little easier for so many."

He has been delivering food to those in need and he also provided dozens of children with gifts in the run up to Christmas

Prabhu was nominated by local residents after initially delivering over 600 grocery items to 25 families in need during the recent lockdown.

Since then, he has delivered food to about 250 families - and helped others in the community in many other ways. Since then, Prabhu has collected over 11,000 more items to provide for families across Banbury which he now distributes on a weekly basis when he’s not working.

He has spent about £400 of his own money to add to funding and donations made by neighbours to supply the goods to 250 families.

Prabhu also dressed up as Santa last month to provide dozens of children with gifts in the run up to Christmas.

With help from two of his neighbours, Prabhu transformed his front garden into a festive grotto, with a selection of toys and treats for the children to take away.
