After much planning, and having raised more than £370 already, Teresa was hopeful that the lock-down restrictions would have lifted in time, and was adamant that the challenge still went ahead, thankfully, with the clippers at the ready, Teresa’s challenge commenced.

DHL have been long standing supporters of their chosen charity Katharine House Hospice.

Laura Horton with the Katharine House fundraising team said: “DHL have been fantastic friends of Katharine House Hospice and continue to amaze us with their commitment and generosity.

"The most recent show of support from Teresa and her team has blown us away and we are so very grateful. We also happen to think she looks very cool with a close shave. Thank you, Teresa, and thank you DHL.”

Not only has Teresa braved the shave for Katharine House, DHL have also been supporting Katharine House through other fundraising activities throughout the last 18 months.

They regularly donate funds thanks to their fully stocked shop, run by Bev Goodwill, and have raised vital funds for the hospice through activities and raffles - they even got to ‘Splash the Manager’ for a £1 a sponge last July.

DHL Operations Manager Darrell Parker Commented: “I am incredibly proud of what the team do to support our chosen charity, and the work that we do together to keep those vitally important funds flowing. The commitment from both Bev and Teresa is phenomenal.”
