The group, Al Medina 313, launched the Prophet of Mercy campaign last week to 'create harmony and love within the Banburyshire community.'

Muslim youth of Banbury spent more than 16 hours preparing and distributing sweets in the town centre. They also delivered sweets to homes where children were in isolation.

Anser Hussain with Al Medina 313 said: "This campaign is according to my vision of making Banbury a beacon example for the world where people can show love and compassion without expecting people to be like them. Having good manners and compassion and mercy doesn’t mean we have to be the same. It means we can be different whilst sharing concern and care, just like we do as families."
