Banbury Circle of Kindness project looking for 'Lockdown Hero' nominations

The Banbury Circle of Kindness project, organised by Visit Banbury Community Interest Company, is looking to recognise a range of people from across the Banbury area whose dedication, compassion and hard work has made a real impact on the lives of others during this most difficult time.

Due to the generosity of a number of local Banbury Circle of Kindness donors the project will be able to recognise those people who went above and behond during the pandemic.

Those selected will receive a special treat in December to say thank you both on behalf of those they have supported and the Visit Banbury CIC team.

Visit Banbury CIC Director Kirsty Leahy said: “There are so many people in Banbury who’ve stood tall to support others in a personal and professional capacity, and this is our way of recognising a few of our local heroes.

"Whereas other Banbury Circle of Kindness activities have focused on specific groups, this is an opportunity to reflect the wonderful contribution of different people across the town in a number of settings.”

Nominations can be made via email to hello@visitbanburycic.org.uk telling the Banbury Circle of Kindness team in no more than 150 words why your chosen person is deserving of recognition.

Nominations must be made by midday on Monday December 14.
