“He always takes the time to speak with every resident to find out more about their preferences and makes sure their favourite dish regularly makes an appearance on the menu. Many of the residents here are well-travelled, and several are from overseas, so there’s definitely a broad range of expectations and favourite foods – which Yavor consistently meets,” she added.

“From making bespoke cakes for residents’ birthdays to cooking cuisines from around the world, his extensive cooking knowledge and attention to detail, along with his creativity, ensure that residents’ needs are met with high-quality foods. Well done Yavor – we’ll keep our fingers crossed for a win.”

Highmarket House provides full-time residential, dementia, nursing and short-term respite care. It has 73 en-suite bedrooms.
