So Hair, Nails and Beauty in Parson's Street, turned ten in August but throughout the year the staff have been fundraising for two healthcare charities.

Owner Danielle Edgington-Gibson, said: "We wanted to celebrate turning 10 by giving back to the local community so we decided to have a ball and aim to raise £10000 for two incredible local charities. The Brodey Centre at the Horton hospital and Mind Oxfordshire.

"The ball had 254 guests and the only way to describe the night was “epic.” Everyone had such a good time. We had loads of entertainment and all the guests loved it including live a magician, arrival music, live band, singing waiters, casino tables and DJ plus a live and a silent auction.

She added: "The night was an outstanding success and we didn’t raise £10000 we raised just over £20000. Can I just say a personal thank you to each and every person who helped make the night the unforgettable event it was. I can never thank everyone enough."

Other fundraising activities include cake sales and senior stylist Kristal Coppin having her hair shaved off at the salon.
