Banbury area man publishes book of funny entertaining reflections of life as an international helicopter pilot

Banbury area man, Nick Mylne, has published his first book - 'Life in a Spin' - a series of short funny vignettes on life as an international helicopter pilot.

The book 'Life in a Spin: the riveting recollections of an international helicopter pilot' by Nick Mylne shares his funny and entertaining reflections of in the life as a military and commercial helicopter pilot.

The book gives the reader a unique insight into life as a pilot travelling around the world. The author takes the reader on 'joyous' visits to Jamaica, Syria, Iran, Germany, Oman, Yemen, the North Sea, Sweden and Saudi Arabia.

Nick's travels as a pilot saw him live through two wars, meet VIPs and flew various heads of state, including members of the British Royal family.

The first print of the book (300 copies) sold out in less than a month earlier this year. A second printing of the book (500 copies) will be available to purchase on Amazon this Saturday March 20. The e-book version of the book is currently available on Amazon.

Nick also represented Great Britain in fencing at the Pentathlon GB. Nick is married, has five children and can read, write and speak Arabic.
