12 pictures: Portrait photographs of Banburyshire families during lockdown raises money for Banbury Foodbank

A Banbury area village photographer has raised more than £1000 for the Banbury Foodbank after photographing families on their front doorsteps or in their front gardens during the lockdown.

Shipston area photographer, Amelia de Jong with ACEsnaps Photography, has photographed over 50 families in local villages in the Banburyshire area providing a historic keepsake for families to look back on in years to come. Using telephoto lenses, she has been able to observe lockdown safety protocol whilst being close enough to engage with families for some family portraits. Amelia said: “It has been such a joy and honour to get out and about with my camera and capture families together during these unprecedented times whilst raising money for the Banbury Foodbank. I have met so many wonderful families who despite the worry have come together as family unit like never before. More information is available at www.acesnaps.co.uk
