Pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after collision with car in Bodicote

A man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision with a car in Bodicote.

Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses after a Toyota Avensis was in collision with a pedestrian in White Post Road at about 1.40am today, Saturday.

The pedestrian, a man in his twenties, is currently receiving treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital.

The road was closed until about 5.10am this morning.

Witnesses are asked to contact investigating officer Sgt Sharon Scarffe of the Roads Policing Unit at Abingdon via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
