The Bodicote Players are back for another turn at a traditional pantomime this December, bringing the much-loved Brothers Grimm tale of Rapunzel to life.

The show marks the group’s 29th year of treading the boards in Banburyshire and promises to be a source of entertainment for all the family, with villainous witches, handsome princes and meddlesome robbers.

As ever, it features talented dancers from the Sharon Green Dance Academy and has been choreographed by Sophie Hardy, who appeared in several previous pantomimes with the Players.

It will also be filled with popular songs containing re-written lyrics to suit the plot and awash with vibrant colours, thanks to costumes provided by Wacky Wardrobes.

Performances of Rapunzel run from Tuesday December 1 to Saturday December 5 at Bodicote village hall, with curtain up at 7.30pm each night. Tickets cost £5 and are available from Bodicote Stores and Wacky Wardrobes. Alternatively, call 07854368190.
