Miller & Carter Steakhouse will soon be open on the site near the M40 junction with owners Mitchells & Butlers PLC submitting its changes to the building to Cherwell District Council on October 26.

The plans include the installation of two bulls, standing at a metre-tall, at the front and back of the restaurant, as well as new lights and the relocation of the outdoor umbrella.

The company is also looking to hire general and deputy managers for the new eatery, which specialises in steak and chips.

A spokesman for Mitchells & Butlers, which owns both Toby Carvery and Miller & Carter, said the conversion is planned for ‘early 2019’.

“From time to time we review our estate and take the decision to convert a business to another of our successful brands,” the spokesman said.

“We are planning to convert the Banbury Toby Carvery to a Miller & Carter Steakhouse in early 2019.
