Comedian Rory McGrath will be showing off more talents when he appears at The Mill Arts Centre with actor and composer Philip Pope on February 21 as part of their UK Tour.
‘Bridge over troubled lager – Volume 2’ is a show that combines McGrath’s sublimely dry and satirical lyrics with Pope’s sophisticated musical talent. Expect plenty of anthems mixed with wry and filthy commentary about topics ranging from social media and Scottish independence through to Philip’s toe and 90s Croatian pop music.
McGrath is most famous for shows such as They Think Its All Over and Three Men in a Boat and Pope for playing the ‘cwying’ singer in Only Fools and Horses, as well as creating the music score for hugely popular shows like Blackadder.
The duo started their tour at the Edinburgh Arts Festival over the summer and have continued throughout the UK ever since.
Tickets are available at the Mill Arts Centre Box Office on 01295 279002.
