Man punched after altercation in Banbury retail park

A 26-year-old man was assaulted after an altercation at Banbury Cross Retail Park.

At about 3.25pm on Sunday, August 30 there was an altercation between two drivers in the car park outside Benson for Beds.

The offender got out of his car and approached the victim who was still seated in the driver’s seat. The offender then punched the victim in the face.

The offender is described as white, around 6ft tall with light brown hair and in his late forties or early fifties.

PC Beth Cocker, investigating officer at Banbury Police Station, said: “The area was very busy with bank holiday shoppers and a large amount of foot and vehicle traffic.
