A man has been cut from a car by Oxfordshire Fire & Rescue Service following a crash on the A361 near South Newington this morning, Tuesday.

Emergency services were called shortly after 8.30am to reports of a car rolling into a field on the Bloxham side of South Newington.

Firefighters released the trapped motorist before he was taken to hospital.

Occupants of a second car involved in the incident were not reported to be injured.

Officers from Thames Valley Police have remained on the scene throughout the morning to manage passing traffic.
