Man charged with theft after Lego figures stolen from W H Smith in Bicester

A 40-year-old man has been charged with theft after Lego figures worth hundreds of pounds were stolen from a WHSmith in Crown Walk, Bicester.

Simon Matthew Moore, from George Street, Bicester was charged at Banbury Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Wednesday) with two counts of theft following his arrest the previous day.

Moore is alleged to have stolen Lego figures worth £199.62 on May 20 and also the theft of Lego figures on June 1 from the same store.

He was released on bail on condition he does not enter any WHSmith store in Oxfordshire. He is due to appear at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on 26 August.
