Man is assaulted and suffers broken nose during argument

A man suffered a broken nose during a road rage incident in Banbury on Sunday.

At around 12.30pm, there was an altercation between the occupants of three cars in Beaumont Road at the traffic lights by Karcher House.

The victim, a 51-year-old man, was driving a blue Ford Focus and got out of his vehicle to remonstrate with the driver of a white VW Golf.

While this argument was taking place, a white Mercedes car pulled up and a man got out of this vehicle and assaulted the driver of the blue Ford Focus.

The victim suffered a broken nose and a fractured cheek bone.

He was taken to Horton General Hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged. The offender is white, around 30 years old, large build, 6ft tall.

Thames Valley Police wants to speak to witnesses or anyone with information.
