M40 junction reopens after fatal collision

The slip road at junction nine of the M40 has now reopened following a collision this morning.

A man has died and two people are in hospital with serious injuries after they were hit by a lorry on the M40.

The incident happened at around 4.30am. The slip road was closed throughout the morning rush hour. The southbound carriageway was shut until around 7.30am.

Road users are being advised to allow additional time for their journeys.
