Banbury United have a new sponsor for their main stand for the forthcoming season.

John Nicholls Ltd, which has been a loyal sponsor for several years and was last season’s away shirt sponsor, will see its name added to the roof of the club’s stand, as well as advertising inside the stand and on the side sections.

United’s commercial director, Mark Allitt said: “I’m delighted we’ll have John Nicholls as one of our main sponsors again for this coming season. Our working partnership with them has been tremendous and Andrew Nicholls and his team could not be more supportive of what we’re trying to do here at Banbury United”.

John Nicholls’ CEO, Andrew Nicholls, added: “We are delighted to support Banbury United again next season by sponsoring the main stand after an excellent season culminating in promotion. With stability now on and off the pitch, we are looking forward to seeing the club progress further as they move back into the Southern League Premier Division.”

United chairman Ronnie Johnson said: “Nicholls has shown great loyalty to us by sponsoring our away shirt last season and now moving onto our main stand. It’s a fabulous example of a successful family-run business in the heart of our community and we’re proud to have them alongside us again.”
