Lorry spills load on A43 near Brackley

The A43 near Brackley was blocked for several hours this morning (Thursday) after a lorry shed its load near the A422 roundabout at Westbury.

Northamptonshire Police were called at about 4.20am to reports of the lorry clipping a roundabout and diesel being spilled. Officers were on the scene for most of the morning with motorists experiencing delays while recovery work took place.

The scene was cleared by about 8.30am.
