LIGHT AIRCRAFT CRASH UPDATE: Pilot is named by police

The pilot who died in a light aircraft crash in Hinton-in-the-Hedges on Friday has now been formally identified by police.

Adam Abraham, 39, of south-west London was travelling in the aircraft when it was involved in an accident at about noon at the village airfield.

Emergency services were called at about 12.10pm and the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) were also informed.
