Preventing child sexual exploitation (CSE) is the subject of a film being shown by Thames Valley Police.

Parents and anyone who works with children in west Oxfordshire are invited to attend the presentation on October 15, at Chipping Norton Theatre, at 1pm.

The film will address how to spot the signs and how to deal with the issue as well as giving advice on staying safe online.

There will be the opportunity to ask key professionals questions afterwards.

The screening is in conjuction with the West Oxfordshire Community Safety Partnership.

Acting Detective Inspector Jonathan Capps from Thames Valley Police said: “CSE remains a top priority for Thames Valley Police and its partner agencies.

“CSE has a far-reaching effect – not only can it have a devastating impact on the individual involved but also their families so I am pleased to support these film presentations which will help raise awareness of the issue amongst parents, carers and childcare professionals.”

The session lasts around an hour with free entrance. To book, email Chris Jones of the Woodstock Neighbourhood Team on christopher.jones1@thamesvalley.pnn.police.uk.
