Kind-hearted youngsters spend summer fundraising

A group of teenagers from Banbury Wave 4 NCS have spent their summer baking cakes, going on sponsored bike rides and holding car boot sales in aid of Down's Syndrome Oxford and Papyrus, a charity dedicated to preventing young suicides.

Young people from Banbury Wave 4 National Citizen Service have been fundraising for local charities this summer

Their leader, Tanishah Bardai, described them as ‘exceptional’ and said they were passionate about both causes. The team helps young people build skills for work and life while taking on new challenges and meeting new friends.
