The Sunshine Centre, in Bretch Hill, played host to the mobile science show Explorer Dome, with a host of stimulating demonstrations for young people and their parents.
The event was funded by Sanctuary’s Community Investment Fund, which supports projects that benefit Sanctuary residents and their communities.
Children’s chemistry experiments explored the unexpected behaviour of bubbles and saw how they can float, sink, grow, burn and explode.
The session also gave parents ideas for play activities they could replicate at home.
