Items taken after offenders gain access into Banbury property

A number of valuables have been stolen from a property in Banbury after Offenders gained entry to an unsecured door.

It happened between 11pm on Sunday and 6am on Monday at an address in Winchester Close.

Once inside the property, offenders stole two canvas bags, a wallet containing an amount of cash, library cards, a driving licence, bank cards, filofax, a Canon camera and an Olympus camera.

James Guinivan, designated investigator based at Banbury Police Station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have heard or seen suspicious behaviour in the area at this time. Please get in contact via Thames Valley Police 24-hour enquiry line on 101.

“It is also reminded to keep all doors and windows secured even if you are still in the property.”
