Inaugural run is a muddy success
The 2.5km course was held in the school grounds and nearby fields and was organised by the school’s charity committee in aid of the Little Princess Charity. The event raised £2,500.
Organiser and pupil Anna Chambers said: “After crawling through 20 metres of mud, scrambling under cargo nets and running through water-logged fields and woods, it was hard to tell who was crossing the finishing line. Needless to say, all participants thoroughly enjoyed the experience and want to grow the event next year.”
The Little Princess Charity supports children being treated for cancer including providing them with real hair wigs.
