In Pictures: King's Sutton Scarecrow Festival

The sixth annual King's Sutton Scarecrow Festival was held last weekend raising thousands of pounds for the village's pre-school.

Hundreds pf people turned out for the September 30 event and were entertained by dance groups, live music and, of course, scarecrows of all types.

This years theme was 'Childhood Days' and awards were given to scarecrows that embodied the theme.

In total £3,138 were raised which will go towards a new building for the pre-school.

So far just over half of the £300K needed for the new construction has been raised.
