Home takes the cake as MP praises high quality of care

The purpose-built home, which was opened in 2008 by Her Majesty The Queen, provides a range of services for adults with physical disabilities.

Owned and managed by Leonard Cheshire Disability, it has accommodation for 24 residents, who have access to 24/7 nursing care.

Mrs Prentis spent time with residents during their weekly baking activity session.

She said: “I was very impressed by the high quality of care. I really enjoyed meeting some of the residents and having a look at the brilliant facilities on offer.”
