Swalcliffe Tythe Barn is full of fascinating relics of yesteryear and is open every Sunday afternoon between Easter and the autumn. The historic barn, considered to be the finest medieval barn in Oxfordshire, was built for New College, Oxford in 1401.
Summer opening is staffed by local volunteers and a call has gone out for more to join their ranks. Nothing strenuous is needed. An interest in local history will make this an appealing job. To find out more contact Jeff Demmar on 01295 788278.
