Over 50 men bedecked with ‘a hirsute appendage of the upper lip, with graspable extremities’ visited Banbury last week for the annual general meeting of the Handlebar Moustache Club.
Now celebrating their 71st anniversary the meeting attracted members from across Europe.
Rod Littlewood, president of the club, said: “The AGM is a formal AGM but it lasts about half an hour. This is an excuse for us to all get together. We have here today people from Belgium, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland.”
