Helping patients to find their voice

Katharine House has secured funding to provide music therapy to its patients three days a week for the next year.

Music Therapy provides a safe, therapeutic space where each patient can be heard, respected and find their voice.

A spokesman for the hospice said: “People facing terminal illness need to be ‘heard’ as individuals and not be seen just as
‘patients’.”
