Sealed Knot will re-enact the Battle of Edgehill at Kineton Sports and Social Club over the weekend of October 19 to 21.

Some 250 to 300 Sealed Knot members will recreate the original clash on October 23, 1642 between Parliamentarians and Royalists.

The aim is to give the public an idea about how the battle was fought, what armour and weapons were used and the context of the battle in relation to the Civil War as a whole.

There will be living history displays and talks, an opportunity to meet the regiments – and more.

The re-enactments run from noon to 4pm on the Saturday and Sunday. Entry is £1, under 16s free, plus £1 for parking.

In addition there will be live music at the club on Friday evening from Pavilion and on Saturday from an AC/DC tribute act, starting at 9pm. A beer/cider festival takes place all weekend.
