Katharine House Hospice is launching a brand new fundraiser in the New Year – The Biggest Loser.
For those looking at getting healthier and happier while supporting local hospice care, this is the ultimate challenge.
Thanks to support from Parkwood Community Leisure in Banbury and Bicester and Curves gym in Banbury, the charity can offer three months’ gym membership, classes, support and advice to help participants reach their fitness and wellbeing goals.
The Adderbury-based charity asks people to try to raise a minimum of £350 for the cause over the three months.
The hospice promises to provide lots of fundraising support, advice and motivation throughout the whole challenge.
Helen Mariner, head of fundraising at Katharine House, said: “We are so excited about this new challenge and are extremely grateful to Parkwood Leisure and Curves for their support.
“If you’re looking to lose weight, get fit and support Katharine House at the same time then we’d love to hear from you. Places are limited so please call us now on 01295 812161 or download an application form from the Katharine House Hospice website www.khh.org.uk.”
She added: “Katharine House Hospice needs to raise £3.3 million each year to provide our invaluable services to local patients and their families.
“Challenges such as The Biggest Loser are vital in helping us to achieve this.”
