A meeting is being held at Chipping Norton School on Tuesday to discuss the future health and social care needs of the local area and how the NHS can meet those needs.
The meeting is being held by the North Oxfordshire Locality Group Public Forum and invites members of the public to share their views about the future of health care in the area.
The topics that will come under discussion include the challenges presented by the population increase proposed in the Local Plan, intermediate care facilities, and users experience with the First Aid Unit in Chipping Norton.
Anita Higham, Chair of the Public Forum said: “We would welcome the views of local people, patients and their carers about health services in Chipping Norton. We are keen to hear how well people think health services in Chipping Norton are meeting the needs of patients in the area.
“It is important that we hear the views of people in North Oxfordshire so that patients’ experiences of health services can be improved”
The meeting is being held with the patients of local GP practices in mind, particularly Banbury, Chipping Norton and the surrounding villages of Bloxham, Hook Norton, Cropredy, Deddington, Sibford and Wychwood. It was stated that those working for organisations which have an interest in local health issues are also welcome to attend.
The meeting will be held from 7.30pm-9pm.
