Rose Coleman celebrated a milestone yesterday, Wednesday, as she turned 100 years old.
Friends at Cluster Care Group day centre in Cropredy toasted a glass of sherry with Mrs Coleman on Tuesday.
Mrs Coleman was thrilled to be presented with flowers and cards from staff at the day centre and plans to continue celebrations with her four children and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mrs Coleman, who has lived in Claydon for 10 years, said one of her secrets to a long life is happiness.
Growing up in the Midlands, she lived through both World Wars and believes it is that hard work which has kept her healthy and happy.
