Group charged following ram raid on Morrisons in Banbury

Five men have been charged following a burglary at the Morrisons supermarket in South Bar Street, Banbury.

The incident happened between 3.30am and 5am on December 8, and in a joint investigation with Thames Valley Police and Surrey Police, the men were arrested and charged on December 16.

Clinton Brown, 33, of Caledonian Road, Matson, Gloucester, has been charged with conspiracy to commit a burglary with intent to steal and criminal damage. John Cooper, 42, of London Road, Ruscombe, Reading, Benjamin Eastwood, 22, of Stock Lane, Ingatestone, Essex, Scott Liddiard, 44, of Moors Avenue, Cheltenham and Jimmy Loveridge, 22, of Chertsey Road, Chobham, Woking, Surrey, have all been charged with conspiracy to commit a burglary with intent to steal.

They will all appear at Guildford Crown Court on March 5.
