Grant to fund activities for youngsters at The Mill

The Mill was given the grant from Cala Homes’ ‘community bursary’ to pay for activities for children and their families as well as subsidised tickets.
Director Georgia Geary said: “The money will allow us to broaden the range of events and activities on offer and to also reach out to further members of the community.

Cala Homes managing director Mark Wright added: “Having seen so many inspirational applications from many worthwhile causes, we faced a real tough decision when choosing the successful initiatives for this year’s ‘community bursary’ scheme.
“The work that The Mill Arts Centre does provides the community with fantastic activities and events that they may not otherwise have access to.”
