Crowds gathered in Banbury town centre on Sunday for this year’s St George’s day parade.
Despite the gloomy weather spirits were high as Girl Guide, Brownie and Scout groups were led through the town by the Shires RBL Youth Band.
The route took them from the starting point in Broad Street, up the High Street to St Mary’s church where a traditional service was observed, They then marched back down the High Street arriving on Broad Street at 4pm.
The event was organised by Girl Guiding Cherwell Division who were joined by North Banbury Scouts for the parade.
Local dignitaries, including the town’s Mayor, were also in attendance.
