Girl, 11, sexually assaulted in Chipping Norton

A picture has been released by police of a man who may have vital information about an 11-year-old girl being sexually assaulted in Chipping Norton.

Two girls, aged 11 and eight, were walking along London Road at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, August 1, when a man walking in front of them turned around to face them.

The 11-year-old girl stepped to one side to get out of his way and she was touched inappropriately over her clothes by the man.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Samantha Hall said: “We have released this man’s image as we would like to speak to him, he may have vital information about this incident.
