Girl, 11, sexually assaulted in Chipping Norton
A picture has been released by police of a man who may have vital information about an 11-year-old girl being sexually assaulted in Chipping Norton.
Two girls, aged 11 and eight, were walking along London Road at around 1.30pm on Wednesday, August 1, when a man walking in front of them turned around to face them.
The 11-year-old girl stepped to one side to get out of his way and she was touched inappropriately over her clothes by the man.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Samantha Hall said: “We have released this man’s image as we would like to speak to him, he may have vital information about this incident.
“I would also like anyone who recognises this man, or if you think this is you, to please contact police.
“If you saw what happened or have any further information please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting the reference ‘4318023524‘ or you can make a report online.”
