Funding bid by aspiring actor

Now Megan Lapper, 17, just has to raise the money to take up her place in September.

The prestigious academy has launched hundreds of well-known names into the industry, including Anne Hathaway and Kirk Douglas.

Megan, who is about to take her A-levels at Chenderit School, is saving hard from her part-time jobs at FatFace and the Gateway, but needs to raise an eye-popping £40,000 for tuition, accommodation and health insurance.
