Residents are angered by the condition of the park after last weeks fun fair.
The combination of torrential rain and heavy vehicle access have left parts of Princess Diana Park in Bretch Hill, Banbury completely unusable for local children.
Residents are angered that given the unseasonable amount of rain the decision to allow a fun fair onto the park was given the go ahead. This decision has left areas of the park nothing more than muddy tracks, tore up by the large vehicles tyres.
Banbury Town Council are responsible for the maintenance and management of the town’s parks along with any repairs that are required.
With the rain set to continue it seems unlikely that the park will be fit for use any time soon.
Banbury Town Council have yet to respond to emails the Banbury Guardian have sent regarding this issue.
