Families young and old in Chipping Warden embraced the mild weather on Tuesday to enjoy the village pancake races to help the ageing St Peter and St Paul’s Church.
The popular event has been going for about 25 years and more than 70 people enjoyed a variety of races featuring toddlers and older residents in the church grounds.
Barbara Bartlett, churchwarden, said: “It is a lovely day and everyone always enjoys themselves.
“It is great to see so many people come to the event every year to help raise funds for the church.
“It is a really important building and it is lovely to have lots of support from the village. We have done this event in all kinds of weather, even snow!”
Toddlers also enjoyed racing for Easter eggs on the day while trying to juggle a pancake in a frying pan.
