More than 50 staff from banbury-based Kärcher UK will be taking part in this year’s Midnight Walk in aid of Katharine House Hospice

The firm originally offered to fund 25 places for its staff to take part in this year’s Midnight Walk, on Saturday, June 25.

But when the company was inundated with requests, it quickly increased that funding to over 50 places.

Managing director Simon Keeping said: “We couldn’t let the 25th anniversary of Katharine House pass without marking it, so sent out a challenge to all Kärcher UK colleagues: ‘Let’s get 25 of us to take part – it will be fun.’

“We didn’t get 25 volunteers – we got 50! Double the fun, and hopefully double the fundraising.”
