Shoppers from Brackley and beyond came out in force for a festive farmers’ market on Saturday.
Stallholders plied their wares to eager shoppers, who were hoping to grab a bargain during the last minute rush.
Nationally the day was branded ‘panic Saturday’ by forecasters, who claimed that £1.2billion would be passed to traders around the country by last minute shoppers.
But the people of Brackley knew how to relax into a day at the market, and as you can see in these pictures, had a very nice day indeed.
Local artists and makers were on hand, selling gifts and trinkets which would make a perfect Christmas present.
Brackley Farmers Market takes place on the third Saturday of every month in Market Place by the town hall.
The next event takes place on January 17, from 9am to 1pm.
Local producers, including Paddocks Products Farm Shop, Fowlers Cheese, Natural Pampering, Cotswold Baking Company and Pastures Farm Poultry are a regular sight at the event.
