A new Christmas market comes to Hanwell on Saturday and Sunday, November 28 and 29.

Following the very popular HanFest art exhibition and concert at St Peter’s Church, the venue is now hosting the Christmas market and a show.

The Christmas market is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm on the Saturday and 4pm on the Sunday. The Saturday evening sees a festive ticketed event with live music, theatre and local food and drink.

Entry to the Christmas market is free in the daytime.

Stalls will sell local produce including food and drink, sweets, gifts, greetings cards, pickles and jams, crafts, baked goods, smellies and local art.

Also on offer will be free lantern making and tours of the 13th century church.

The evening show includes stargazing with Hanwell Observatory, a performance by Hanwell village choir, an outdoor barbecue and beer. Tickets are £10 per person. See www.hanfest.co.uk
