Ferguson duo finish strongly

In qualifying, the Banbury-based RAW team saw Jeremy Ferguson fourth and Andrew Ferguson in third in his session. But for Louis Hamilton-Smith there were chassis problems, that put both him and Theodor Olsen out for the weekend.

Jeremy leapt into the lead on the opening lap which had grown to 1.6 seconds by lap eight.

But Stuart Moseley came storming back and the lead changed three laps later before Andrew took over. Moseley stayed out until the end of the pit-stop window, leaving Ferguson to duel with Manhal Allos for the lead.

Having held second as Allos consolidated his advantage, Marc Crader in the Moseley car closed in to snatch the place on the final lap.

Allos and Crader had led from the start of the second race, with Andrew third until the stops. With Jeremy back in the seat he managed to consolidate second behind Allos.

For the final race Jeremy took the first stint. He ousted Allos on the opening lap and tried to chase down Moseley for the lead.

Moseley stayed out again but Ferguson was into second and, with Allos retiring, second placed place was assured to the chequered flag.
