Fang-tastic goings on at Banbury's Castle Quay

Halloween is coming to Castle Quay Shopping Centre for some frighteningly free fun this October half-term.

Taking place on Saturday 27th October 27, between 11am and 4pm, families can meet spooky reptiles and creepy crawlies, alongside having the chance to take part in arts and witchcrafts workshops.

Castle Quay will also be hosting a Trick or Treat treasure hunt around the centre, seeing children go in search to find the clues, before returning to win some free goodies.

Children are encouraged to wear Halloween themed costumes and take advantage of free face painting.

Additionally The Entertainer toy store will welcome Lego Ninjago’s Kai, who’ll be appearing at intervals between throughout the day. Families can meet Kai and get their pictures taken with the Elemental Master and Ninja of Fire.

Paul Jackson, centre manager at Castle Quay, said “We’re looking forward to hosting some free freaky fun this Halloween, and can’t wait to welcome plenty of young shoppers during the October half-term.

“Families can take part in our range of free activities, whilst shopping in their favourite stores for their Halloween goodies, from fancy dress costumes, spooky stories and goodies for trick or treaters.”
