Dozens of heavy agricultural machinery from tractors and JCBs to fast tracks and utility vehicles left the RC Baker headquarters in Barford St Michael bedecked with fairy lights, tinsel, Christmas trees and Santas.

The convoy then headed through South Newington, Milcombe, Bloxham, Milton, Adderbury, Deddington, Hempton and back through Barford St Michael.

The event, on Thursday, December 19, was once again raising money for Adderbury’s Katharine House Hospice via entry fees and donations.

In the previous three years the tractor run has raised £11,000 for the hospice.

Last year’s event attracted 78 participants with this year’s number yet to be confirmed.
