A Formula 1 car from Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 team will be the star of this year’s Classic Vehicle Show at Brackley Park.
The Brackley-based team is also supporting the charity fundraiser on Sunday, August 23, which promises to be a fabulous day out for the whole family.
It follows hot on the wheels of the very successful event held last year when more than 80 vehicles were on display.
It’s being organised on behalf of the mayor, Cllr Jim Broomfield, in aid of his two charities – Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Katherine House Hospice.
The show has already attracted a wide variety of classic vehicles from cars and vans to tractors, with more than 75 pre-booked.
Classic car insurers Hagerty of Towcester will also have a presence with a selection of their staff’s classic cars. Experts will be on hand to discuss individual classic vehicle insurance needs.
The Girl Guides are providing refreshments and Brackley Butchers will be responsible for a lip- smacking barbecue.
The venue is close to the town centre for easy access to local shops and the biggest antique centre in the south Midlands.
The event will be open from 11am to 4pm, with a rally entry fee/donation of £5 a vehicle.
Rally plaques will be issued and certificates awarded to the best in each class, as well as overall best vehicle.
This year there is further space available in the picturesque setting of Brackley’s old Manor House.
