Extras in Bicester wanted for major feature film

Movie fans in Oxfordshire are being given the chance to be an extra in a major feature film starring Gemma Arterton, Paddy Considine and Glenn Close.

She Who Brings Gifts is about a scientist and teacher living in a dystopian future in which most of humanity is wiped by out by a fungal infection. They then embark on a journey of survival with a special young girl called Melanie.

The infected, referred to as ‘hungries’, quickly lose their mental powers and feed on the flesh of healthy humans.

The film is looking for people in Banbury, both male or female and aged between 18 and 70 to play ‘hungries’.

No previous filming or acting experience is necessary - and there will be a ‘hungries school’ on the day with movement direction and make-up team to get you looking the part.

The deadline for Oxfordshire applications is 5pm on Monday and all successful candidates will be contacted directly no later than Tuesday, June 30. Filming dates will take place on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 near Banbury.

Anyone who is signed up to take part will be contacted directly and will be paid according to National Minimum wage contribution.
